‘Craig of the Creek’ is here to save Cartoon Network
Craig of the Creek is an American animated television series created by Matt Burnett and Ben Levin for Cartoon Network, who had previously served as story.the season episode
Previously, you could start watching any episode at random and easily get swept up in Craig, Kelsey, and J. In a pinch, the map will help get you where you need to go, but to Craig, its real importance lies in the fact that every entry represents a piece of the special world that kids in his neighborhood have been building together for years. Though none of the kids are eager to admit it, they all know that something or someone is out there with them just beyond their line of sight, watching them as they start becoming comfortable with the honeysuckle territory. On their very last journey to this special section of the Creek, their mystery stalker reveals himself in the most melodramatic of ways. Unbeknownst to any of the regular Creek kids, a boy only known as the Green Poncho lurks in the woods by the underpass, patrolling the area in an effort to keep other kids out for reasons that are unclear but obviously related to the symbols that fascinated Craig so much. After the Green Poncho attacks the kids with a variety of trick arrows fashioned out of scented markers and pencils, they book it back to home base, fearing for their lives, and for a while, the mysterious, hooded character disappears from Craig of the Creek The A.
What is a perfectly normal moment for any character in a show carries added resonance in Craig of the Creek, given the fact that Craig and his family are black. Craig of the Creek follows Craig and his best friends Kelsey and J. For adults, the show is a love letter to the carefree days of youth when a vibrant imagination and the outdoors were all that were needed for a solid afternoon. Film and TV have seen incremental gains in having more women and minorities. But a subsection of those statistics to consider is how many are leading roles, and how are these characters represented? Ben Levin , left, and Matt Burnett , right.
Also, unlike Teen Titans Go! The three main characters: Craig, Kelsey and JP balance each other out and bounce off each other well. Hint, hint: Boys pick up on these messages too.

I must admit a huge personal bias in writing this review. I love nature. I love going out to hike and I love exploring. So the fact that reveling in nature is such a huge part of this show means I was always going to love it right off the bat. Any series that reminds kids, or even older people watching it, that the world around them can be magical place especially with a little imagination deserves praise but Craig of the Creek is somehow even more than that. The first episode in particular contains a very moving message that personal accomplishments should never come before being a good friend and helping others.
